 Lama tak berblogging. Blog hopping pun tak sempat. Angin M yang melanda manjang..haha..Nak try new recipes pun malas. Tapi, tetap nak kena masak. Sapa lagi nak masak...except if mak came over. Dapat le merasa makanan sedap penuh meja. I've been neglecting to update the princesses' progresss especially pasal Baby Airis.
 Back to the actual title, Airis has been taking her first steps early this year. Kira cepat la jugak at 13 m.o. Alysa dulu rasanya boleh berjalan at 15 m.o. Baby Airis ni tumbuh gigi paling cepat rasanya when she was 9 or 10 m.o. Now dah 8 batang. Alysa dulu setahun lebih belum tumbuh gigi, sampai I naik risau. Siap tanya Liza whether it was normal..:-). Anak I yang bongsu ni semuanya mudah.. porridge pun tak lalu. So, nestum le dia telan until now besides all the stuff the we ate. She especially loves pasta and spaghetti. Walker tak suka nak naik. Tidur atas tilam. Not even once dia tidur atas buaian. I think it 's HIS gift for me, since masa bersalin kat dia dulu i dah teruk.
 The photos here are taken using camera phone since my camera's memory card terkena virus. Gone all the 500+ photos. Sob..sob..Dah le tak sempat back up. Reminds me to save the photos especially after taking photos of memorable events.

Cuti- Cuti Kota Kinabalu - Part III

 We woke up very early coz tak nak miss nak tengok Mt Kinabalu peak. The princesses were woken up at 6.30am. By 7am everyone was ready. Masa ni dah cerah dah. Sempat lagi posing dengan strawberry & roses. Lepas check-out, we headed to Kundasang town for the splendid view of Mt Kinabalu peak & breakfast.

 Kat tengah2 pekan Kundasang tu, posing sakan le we all depan Mt Kinabalu. Tak rugi bangun awal. Breakfast at Intan's cafe pun boleh nampak mountain's top. Puas hatilah dapat tgk Mt Kinabalu's peak from both sides. Yesterday dapat tengok dari pekan nabalu. This side nampak tajam. From Kundasang view, nampak flat sikit. Tapi both sides nampak cantik!

By the time we all gerak ke Pekan nabalu, the peak was covered with clouds. We felt so lucky cos bukan semua orang ke Kundasang dapat tengok Mt Kinabalu peak. Let alone from both sides. Tapi nak panjat tu rasanya macam tak kut. Hubby cakap rasanya macam boleh panjat je.. Yelah dalam 9km to the top 'je'. I said, ada hati nak panjat gunung dengan lutut yang kong tu. Dia kata since Great Wall of China dia boleh panjat, dia rasa tak mustahil nak panjat Mt Kinabalu. Hehe.. dream on la..Great Wall pun panjat sampai 4th base je..

 Sampai pekan nabalu masih awal around 8.30am. Kedai pun baru nak buka. Ada le beli souvenirs kat sini. Kain batik kat sini murah dari KK. Hubby finally bought kayu tas yang diidamkan tu. Masa we all kat Kuching, Kayu Tas jantan was sold at nearly RM300 per piece at Kuching Waterfront. Lepas diskaun boleh dapat RM250. Nasib dia tak beli. Kat sini kayu tas was sold dirt cheap. Hubby beli sepasang i.e jantan & betina. Lepas dah ke kedai lain, baru teringat nak beli kat ayah. So, beli lagi sepasang. Kayu tas ni banyak kegunaan. Antaranya nak halau benda2 halus & binatang2 liar eg ular. Tapi tak boleh guna pukul orang except orang jahat le. Nanti bengong orang tu..:-) Ni le antara khasiat penjual kat Kuching Waterfront tu bagitau.

Masa on the way balik ke KK, sempat le we all singgah kat jambatan gantung tamparuli & rumah terbalik. Then ikut jalan tepi laut ke KK. Singgah kat a few tourist attractions . Ronda2 kejap kat pasar filipina tapi tak beli apa2 pun. We had lunch kat area wisma MAA. Hubby & the princesses had nasi lauk. I had soto banjar. Sedap..

After lunch, Baby had tummy ache. So, we decided to check-in at our homestay. Masa ni le pulak the owner tu tak angkat telefon. We all dah nearly nak check-in into other hotel. Nasib le finally she called. Dia tengah kursus. After waiting for nearly 1 hour for her brother to send the key, we finally managed to get Baby cleaned up. Kesian kat the princesses tak sempat nak swimming coz hujan. We promised them to go swimming tomorrow at the apt's swimming pool.

 Petang tu we all singgah kat KK state mosque. We performed the maghrib prayer there. Then, we had dinner at a mamak restaurant near Kg Air. Dekat tapak pasar malam. Tapi pasar malam kat sini tak happening. Yang sebelah Le Meridien lagi happening. Lepas pusing seround, we went to another pasar malam kat opposite pasar filipina tu.  By this time, the princesses dah penat. Nak suruh dukung lah, haus lah etc. So, balik & zzz.

On our last day in KK, the princesses woke up early. Berkobar2 nak pegi swimming. Tengok2 the pool was opened at 10am. They were ready at 7am. Kesian.. Pukul 10 mmg tak sempat nak swim dah coz our flight was at 10.55am. So, we let them play at the playground for a short while before having breakfast. We bought breakfast at Jln Pahlawan. Ok gak nasi lemak dia.

The trip to Kota Kinabalu was wonderful with great views. Best of all, the princesses behaved themselves & sihat. Actually, it was kinda a test for the princesses. They managed well with the long hours that we put up. With this attitude, boleh le nak bawak pegi holidays overseas pulak...insyaAllah kalau ada rezeki lebih..:-)

Cuti- Cuti Kota Kinabalu - Kundasang - Ranau : Part II

 Lepas breakfast which Hubby tapau kat kedai melayu kat bawah our apt, we headed to Kundasang. Masa pegi tu tak lalu coastal road, so tak de le view laut yang cantik tu. Kat KK senang nak drive. Signboards banyak tak macam Kuching. So, tak de le asyik nak kena tgk google map je.

 From KK to Kundasang tu lbh kurang 100km je. Tapi since jalan yang berbukit2 & bengkang- bengkok, it took us over 2 hours to reach Kinabalu Park. The scenery was breathtaking and we managed to see Mt Kinabalu peak ! But, by the time kitaorang sampai Pekan Nabalu, the peak was covered with clouds. Kat Pekan Nabalu souvenirs lagi murah compared to KK. Masa ni cuma survey barang je. Tak shopping lagi.

 Then, we headed to Kinabalu Park. Entrance fee is only RM3 for adults and free for kids below 7 y.o. Ticket ni boleh guna kat Poring Hot Springs tapi I terlupa. So I bayar 2x. Tapi since murah dah, tak de lah nak claim balik..:-). Kat Kinabalu Park ni mmg sejuk eventhough we all sampai tengahari. Makan ais pun tak cair cepat. Adik sampai menggigil walaupun pakai jumper. Dah dia tu kurus sangat. Kat Kinabalu park ni mainly ronda2 dengan kereta je & jalan2 sikit. The views were magnificent.

 Lunchtime tu we all ingat nak lunch kat Kundasang je. Masa nak check-in kat hotel tu, bilik tak siap lagi coz I tak confirm my booking. Lps buat payment terus lunch kat Intan's cafe di Kundasang. Masakan melayu. Siap ada kicap lagi. Mmg sesuai sangat le dengan the princesses ni. Lepas lunch & solat kat Masjid  jamek dekat dengan Mt Kinabaly Resort & Spa Hotel, we headed to Desa Dairy Farm.

 Dari Kundasang ke Desa Dairy Farm tu which is at Mesilau, dalam 9km je. Tapi it took us nearly 30min to get there. Yelah dah boleh bawak kereta dlm 20km/hr je. Desa Dairy Farm ni betul2 kat kaki gunung kinabalu. Tapi peak tak nampak le coz hujan. Masa sampai sini masa tengah perah susu. So, lembu2 tu tengah beratur untuk diperah susu. Ada le jugak a group yang scattered. Nampak le macam kat New Zealand gitu walaupun lembu2 tu kurus2..:-)

 Lepas beli fresh milk we all ke Poring Hot Springs pulak. Ada le dalam sejam gak nak ke sana dari Kundasang walaupun tak le jauh mana. Sampai situ dah pukul 5pm. Masuk le kejap. The princesses sempat la mandi-manda kat Hot Springs. Nak ke Canopy Walk & Butterfly farm dah tutup. Masa tu dah nak hujan. Lepas diorang dah gigil2 mandi kat swimming pool lepas rendam kaki kat hot spring tu, kitaorang balik dah 7pm.

 On the way to pekan Ranau, jalan berkabus giler. Masa tu baru 7 - 8pm, tapi rasa macam dah tengah malam coz gelap gelita & hujan renyai-renyai. We all singgah kat pekan Ranau & bought KFC for the princesses. Sampai bilik dah 9.30pm. Fuh! lega. Waktu malam kat Kundasang mmg sejuk. Dapat free original aircond..;-)
 Kundasang & Ranau memang best. Tak lengkap rasanya kalau ke KK kalau tak ke sini.

Cuti- Cuti Kota Kinabalu - Part I

 It's been a while since I last wrote. Malas & a lot of stuff on my plate. Last month we managed a short break to Kuching. Tapi tak sempat update dalam blog. This time is actually the first time we took the princesses to a vacation naik flight. Tupun last minute we decided not to take Baby Airis. Tak sihat pulak. Kesian gak kat dia. Tapi kalau bawak pun, she wouldn't enjoy herself & kitaorang pun akan kelam kabut nak jaga dia yang tak sihat. The other princesses were so excited nak naik flight..:-)

We drove from Penang and took a flight from KL at 3pm. Arrived at KKIA at 5.40pm. Sampai je terus ambik kereta sewa from KK Rent A Car. We rented Proton Saga (A) BML which I got a good deal. Kereta baru, murah, bersih & the service was good. Then we headed to Tg Aru Beach for dinner. Kononnya nak tengok sunset. Tapi masa pusing2 cari parking tu, tup2 dah sunset. We had dinner at the food court there. Food was lousy except for the grilled chicken wings. Rasanya tekak we all ni yang tak boleh terima masakan sana..:-(

 Lepas makan, baru check-in at Promenade Service Apt. The apt was spacious & clean. Cuma nak cari apt tu macam susah sikit. Kat bawah apt tu banyak malay & mamak restaurants. Memang convenient sangat. After freshening up, we headed to pasar filipina & pasar malam. Tapi mostly kitaorang shopping kat pasar malam tu coz according to reviews kat sini barang2 lagi murah & senang nak tawar-menawar..:-). I bought a few souvenirs here. Rasanya dah dapat a good deal..:-)

 Since the princesses had a long day, we headed to our room around 10pm. Tomorrow would be another long day..

Alysa's new school

 On 4th Jan 2012, Alysa was officially in standard 1 :-). She had an orientation on wednesday the previous week. She looked happy. Nasib dapat satu kelas dengan Amirul, our neighbour. Masa orientation duduk sebelah amirul. Tapi masa first day tu, sampai je tengok2 ada budak lain duduk sebelah amirul. So, she had to sit at the back of the class..Ni gara2 mama dia terbangun lambat la..hehe..7.30am baru keluar rumah. Tu pun drop off Adik first at her kindy. Sampai sekolah Alysa, ngam2 je untuk their first assembly.

 On her orientation day, she woke up at 4am! Lepas kejut Adik and lepak tengok tv, she then woke us up at 5am. I ni yang masih mamai, ingatkan hubby tak terjaga untuk ke masjid. Tengok2 jam baru 5 am, terus rasa sakit kepala..haha..yelah the nite before i masuk tido at 1 a.m. Lepas suruh diorang lepak dulu, I tried to catch some sleep. Tp.. tak boleh coz kejap2 diorang masuk bilik. In the end both of them woke up everyone including Baby Airis..:-(

 However, on her first day of school, dia tak terjaga pulak. Hubby kejut I before ke masjid. Tp I biasak le tido dulu. Sedar2 dah 6.50am. Rumah sunyi je..Then baru realised both Alysa & Adik tak bangun lagi. Kelam kabut le we all. But, managed to go to school on time. Nasib rumah dekat je dgn sekolah.

Her first recess. Bawak bekal. Tapi since mama was around to buy food for her, she ate the bought sausages instead. Lucky, Standard 1 was let out first for recess. So, tak le berebut- rebut..

Alysa & Ayra's Majlis Konvokesyen & Kecemerlangan

 Last Sunday on 4th Dec, Alysa & Ayra's kindy held their convo. Alysa had been practising for her performance for over a month. She still had to attend her practices even after school holidays started. She had to go to school as early as 7.30am and got back after 4pm when they had to practise at other branch. By the time she got back home she was really flat. Sometimes slept at 6pm until the next day. But she was an early riser. She'd woke up at 5am! Watching cartoons by herself... and got ready to go to school by 7 am.

On the convo day, Hubby had to send Alysa to Politeknik Permatang Pauh as early as 10am. The convo actually started at 2pm. I was worried Hubby would fall asleep while driving coz he only had 1 hour sleep the nite before as he had a day trip to KL the previous day. But, he managed to send Alysa safely.

 The convo started at 2 pm and we arrived just in time. But, we had to sit at the back as many parents were there earlier. The graduating kids were from 5 branches. There were over 300 kids to be awarded that day. Alysa got 2 awards i.e her graduation & best in academic for 6 y.o. Ayra got 2 too..best in academic & iqrak tertinggi for 5 y.o. I was so proud of them as they were among the best out of nearly 300 students ( to be exact ; 262 six y.o and 295 five y.o ). Rasa macam sebak lak..hehe.. Anak baru graduated from kindy, mama emo la pulak!!haha..

 Alysa was involved in a performance too. They performed " Hambamu " . She looked confident & dah macam anak dara lepas kena solek by the teachers.. All in all, it was a day to remember . However, I wished I had a DSLR & photography skills to capture their best moments.Hmm..Lagipun tak menang tangan I sorang yg ambik gambar coz Hubby pening2 lalat tak cukup tido. So, he was stuck at his chair..:-( . Oh..Their tok & Baby were there too to share the big moments..

 Alysa - Receiving her cert. Look at the screens. There were 3 screens. When each graduating kid when on stage, their biodata was projected.  Alysa nak jadi " jururawat - nak jadi macam mama"..:-) Hello sayang, sejak bila mama jadi jururawat ni? Tu lah, my profesion ni the kids tak familiar..
